About me

For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in design, crafting visuals, building brands, and creating experiences.I’ve poured my heart into this work, always looking to make things better, more engaging,
and more meaningful.
But over time, something has shifted within me. I’ve begun to realise that design is no longer just about aesthetics, it’s about purpose. It's about creating experiences that don’t just look good, but feel good, that connect with people in meaningful ways and make a real impact on their lives.

Overview:Cycle Sync is a mobile-first solution designed to solve two key challenges faced by corporate cyclists: parking space management and community building for sustainable commuting.

THE PROBLEM STATEMENT:

Corporate cyclists face two primary challenges:1- Unpredictable availability of bike parking spaces, leading to time waste and frustration.2- Lack of connection with fellow cyclists, limiting the potential for group commutes.

PROJECT GOALS:

• Improve accessibility to bike parking by providing real-time availability updates.• Encourage social cycling by enabling group ride coordination.• Reduce congestion around office bike racks by optimising parking usage.

USER PROBLEMS:

• Limited bike parking availability – Cyclists struggle to find available racks, leading to inconvenience and wasted time.• Lack of coordinated group rides – Many employees want to cycle together but don't know which routes others take or how to connect with fellow riders.• Low motivation for sustainable commuting – Some employees are hesitant to cycle due to a lack of social or incentivised motivation.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:

Based on all the information collected through research and findings, I figured that an application will require the following functionality to promote a healthy lifestyle

Understanding the Problem

The corporate cycling challenge we're addressing stems from the increasing adoption of bicycle commuting among employees, driven by environmental consciousness and wellness priorities. As more employees choose to cycle to work, two critical issues have emerged that significantly impact the daily commuting experience.

Primary Research

Conducted user interviews and surveys to gather insights from employees who cycle or are interested in cycling. Key findings include:During these research phase, I also tried to understand;• 75% of surveyed cyclists struggle to find parking during peak hours.• 60% of potential cyclists would be more likely to bike if they had a group to ride with.• Employees value real-time data and seamless social coordination

USER PERSONA:

CONCLUSION
